Under the hood

Eight layers between a document and a decision

1. Originals (documents)

   The files as they arrived stay untouched, and every later layer points back to them.

2. Parsing (MT700 · 44C · 46A)

   Language models read each document and pull out its fields, dates and conditions.

3. Claims (claim · source · authority)

   Every extracted fact is stored as a claim with its source and the authority it rests on.

4. Constraints (UCP 600 Art. 29)

   Rules from the credit, the registry and the practice rules become explicit constraints.

5. Solver (Z3 · unsat core)

   A constraint solver checks the claims against the constraints and names the ones that conflict.

6. Forecast (P90 · 17–21 Dec)

   Predicted dates carry a range, so a late vessel shows up as a window rather than a guess.

7. Plans and drafts (plan A · plan B)

   A planner ranks the ways out, with the levers and costs of each, and prepares drafts.

8. Approval and audit (approved · payload hash)

   A person approves what leaves, and the approved payload is hashed into the audit trail.
